I've had my FLG for over a year now! almost 15 months to be exact. and he has gone from 8" to around 15" in that amount of time. here are pics when I first got him.

I had kept him in a 75 for the first 11 months of his life(or till he was 13"). He took to eating pellets, cut tilapia and shrimp very easily. His staple diet his whole life has been been floating Hikari pellets(large size) and he gets varied meaty foods(tilapia, silver sides, shrimp, feeders) 5 times a week but fed twice a day with either pellets or meaty foods. He also has some sort of tumor or something on his snout but it doesn't appear to bother him. Now that I convinced my parents to let me get a 180 gallon tank he has a good home for a few more years. so here he is in the 180!

Lucky gar, and a lucky owner. You're taking good care of him and it shows. Keep up the good work.
