ID this cichlid please

I got this little guy in a batch of feeder guppies soo saved him and put him in my other tank but I don't know what kind of cichlid it is never seen one like this before and oven kept cichlids for a long time thanks

Who said it was a cichlid though? I might be wrong but I don't think it's a cichlid. It reminds me of some kinda molly..

That appears to be a tilapia species, probably blackchin or blue, maybe even a hybrid. Won't know for sure until it grows a bit. Definitely a tilapia for sure

i've had this ame thing happen to me and i belive it to be a tilapia too, by the shape of it, grow it out and see what happens
