Got a cheap electric pH tester off amazon, thing had good reviews. Seemed to work for the few times I used it. Now with my new ro unit I want to be checking the water much more frequently to know how it's going to act and what it's going to do. Liquid tests show ph of 6.4-6.6, electric shows 8.1-9.5? Junk? I know my GF used it a week ago and stuck it a little to far into the water, fried the circuit board? Should I try recalibrating it to 6.4-6.6 in my ro water? Don't want to go out and spend a bunch of money on the calibration liquid if the thing is junk.
