I have a two week old 90 gal. 80lbs of live sand, 60lbs if live rock. Running a canister, HOB, and Protein Skimmer. Two 700 gph powerheads. Should I point both up, both down, or one up and one down? I've had one up and one down, but it seems to stir a lot of debris floating in tank. How do you have yours? Currently have two yellow rail damsels, two clown, one 3 spotted black damsel, one skunk shrimp, 4 blue leg crab, and 4 red leg crab, and two snails that hitch hiked on live rock!

Also my powerheads are 6 inches down in each side, tank is a footprint.

Do you have corals? If not, then it doesn't really matter where you point them but I would put one about 6" off the sand on one side and then put one on the opposite side 6" down from the top so they are blowing in a circular motion

No corals yet but they are in the future! How should they be set for corals? Thanks for your input!

You need to play with the positioning of them until your corals look happy. A lot of corals don't like direct flow though
