So I have completely changed both tanks. The 125g has a 14" bala shark, 3 small severums, and 2 plecos. Would really like to move the plecos to another tank but I don't want to have 4 tanks running again. I Lost my 9" Gold Sev that's in the pics about 2 weeks ago. Looked like a bacterial infection. Treated with pimafix and melafix using half doses. My sick tank is being used for my injured convict. He was looking great but came home one afternoon and found him dead. My little Super Red Sev didn't survive the medications. I did water changes and added carbon to the AC110 but he didn't recover. I had plenty aeration with the FX5 return aimed straight up and two airpumps with bubble wands running. Plus the AC110 and a powerhead aimed up. I had just gotten the super red, a turquoise sev, a rotkeil, and a green sev for the tank to add to my gold sev. They were all healthy, as you will see from the pics. I added a lot of hiding spots for them so they could rest. Never had any spikes on ammonia, nitrites, or nitrates because the tank is well cycled and filtered. Made me sick to lose the big fella, but then to lose the little red also... Guess I need to see about getting another of each so they will all grow out at the same time. The other 3 severums are doing great. They are growing quick and eating like little pigs.Nokia 2 036.jpgNokia 2 035.jpgvisioneer 043.JPG00000044.JPGNokia 2 031.jpgNokia 2 025.jpgNokia 2 026.jpgNokia 2 027.jpg
As for the 50g, I have converted it into a community tank with Platinum Green Tiger Barbs, Black Skirt Tetras, and Tiger Barbs. I couldn't get any good pics of these because they just don't sit stvisioneer 046.JPGvisioneer 055.JPGvisioneer 047.JPG00000045.JPG
