I am moving soon and the condo I am going to only has room for a tank in the basement (fully finished). The nearest faucet is up the stairs and around the corner maybe 40' away... How would you do water changes on a big tank 150-180?? Just siphon? Anything easier?

I use my fx5 for water changes aswell, but i use the extra valve it came with connected to a garden hose. It goes straight out to the lawn, which is 50' away. It drains half of the water in my 190 in no time.

I really like that idea chicxulub. Might consider doing that to mine.

Thanks man.

I used to use the third adapter method too, but I kept spilling water when I switched the outlet thing. Plus, turning the valves is soooo much easier lol
