as above is stated, will a Florida Gar be ok in a 250G 7' x 2' x 3' tank?
I don't know much about the Florida Gar so and information will be much appreciated!
Thanks very much in advance!

if the tank is 3ft wide by 2ft tall(90cm wide and 60cm tall), you will be good for a very long time. 2ft wide still work for quite a while though.

depends what else your keeping with it but imo yes should be okay. long as the fish is an adult when you buy it/move it 16" range. smaller gar would likely spook and break their back with so much room.

itll be fine in that size tank, depending on stock, and yes the bigger the better unless you have a growout tank it and then transfer it when it gets bigger

According to our stickies, FL Gars would be fine in a 180 (6x2x2). If your tank is wider than that, there should be no question the gar will be fine for life. As mentioned above though, just make sure he's big enough to feel comfortable in there with the rest of your stock.
