Hi all I just have a quick question

I set up my tank 4 days ago and these are my results I just want to know if they are high enough to give me a good cycle before adding my flowerhorn.

Day 1 ammonia 0 ph 7.5 no2 0
Day 2 ammonia 0 ph 7.5 no2 0
Day 3 ammonia 0.25 mg/l no.2 0
Day 4 ammonia 0.25 mg/l no.2 0.3mg/l
Day 5 ammonia 0. No2 0 no3 12.5 mg/l

Does this mean my cycle is almost over and if so is the environment safe for my FH

Ps I had a golden barb and 3 electric yellow cichlids in the tank but I didn't add them all at once I did it 2 at a time

it seems to be getting close but don't rush it.....keep the current occupants alive with 0 ammonia and 0 nitrites for at least a couple weeks imo..good luck:)

I would either leave the fish in or take the fish out and add pure ammonia. Once the ammonia goes down to zero again, then you can add the flowerhorn.
