I have the chance to get a nice Indo Datnoid at 6 inches long. I want to put him in with my geophagus but I am worried about the datnoid eating the geophagus. The biggest geo is 6 so that should be fine but the smallest is 3 inches for the body and 4 inches including fins. Is this fish big enough to not get eaten? The smallest Geo is a Balzani if that makes a difference.

If not I can put him in with my peacock bass and bichirs but I wanted to boost the filtration on that tank first.

well I pulled the smallest out at lunch and its a true 3 inches including tail. I am inclined to think I am still ok, but does this change anything?
