So, I managed to pick up a whole WHACK of good **** for $100 including 5 tanks, several filters, a couple stands, etc etc etc.... In this pile of stuff is a Fluval 404 which I can't determine is missing parts or not, as I don't even know how to use it. :/
Internal components seem to all be there, and the top of it has an in and out hose... that's it? Just run the hoses into the tank? They're rather thick, not sure how to secure them haha.
Also picked up a dual bio-wheel system. It's not like the Emporers with their dual wheel in one housing. It's 2 separate housings linked together by a T pipe inlet. I have a bio-wheel on my 35 and I love it so much more than the AquaClear 70. Seems to pick up SO much more crap! How do I use this damn dual housing thing though? I'm afraid if I just pump water to it, it'll be too much and the filters will just over flow. I should also mention, in that pile of stuff was also a Penguin 1140 powerhead...
