Personally I wouldn't aros are adapted to eat bugs. Even thou I'm sure they would pick off a mouse at the surface in the wild it could create a problem for the aro if it can't digest it. And no there be very little difference in nutritional value.

Mammals are not a common treat to aros in the wild neither in captivity unless for those that fall in the water occasionally so it is harder for them to digest it compare to the bugs/small fishes they usually eat. It can be used as a treat though every once in a while. Still, you're going to risk if the aro is still young.

Surely better than crickets and SW?
Perhaps, though I would expect crickets to be more in line with the type of insect they would mostly eat in habitat. Regardless, you could feed your aro pinkies, but there are certainly far better things to feed it...
