There is a youtube video I saw that, to me, proves they won't eat each other. There were 3 large, foot long (?) Dats in a tank. They dumped a bucket of maybe 10 1" babies in. The big guys were extremely curious for a couple minutes but nothing happened. Then they dumped a bucket of feeder goldfish in and the Dat's HAMMERED them. The baby Dats just ran to the corners.

I saw that video about 3 years ago when I got my first Dat. Don't remember any details about it, I was still drinking then. :nilly:
