Um the "algae" on the rock iI'm pretty sure that's diatoms...... caused from too much light and.silicas In tthe water I.believe. are you using tap water?

Diatoms are a naturally occurring 1st step of life bacteria in the initial cycling process - aka new tank syndrome. Also they are non-photosynthetic - they can grow in an non lighted system. - Congrats!

No its all saltwater with live rock and live sand.

LOL saltwater starts from fresh you have to mix it. So are you using RO water or tap? But with that comment I'm assuming from the petstore?
