I picked up a red striped geophagus from petco today and I have him in my tank with haps peacocks n mbuna will this work

It's generally never a good idea to mix Africans and ca/sa. Plus I believe geos like to be in groups

the geophagus which looks like an altrifons will get torn up. They are pretty mellow for a south american/ plus as was stated like soft acidic water where the Africans like the other half of the PH scale.
He seems very happy in with my peacocks and haps

Well then it sounds like you already made up your mind so why bother asking ppl for their opinion... U asked if it would work, we said no (for multiple reasons), and u say he seems fine. So good luck with that
