Jungle val question

I got some jungle val in the mail yesterday morning and from the trip they got a lot brown I got some seachem flourish tabs coming in the mail will that get them nice again and I run 2x 10k bulbs for 7 hours a day
And how fast do val start growing runners

Do I just leave the brown melted part on the plant if it don't fall off and the leaf should just grow and just cut off the brown part once it gets to the top of my tank?

Should I cut alot of the plants off and just let them start all over again. They were big plants was In the mail about 4 days I've noticed that a lot of them are weak even in the green one of the plants broke off About a half a inch from the crown think new groth will come from it and my root tabs will be here in a few days
