Alright. So my blood parrot had swelling on its cheek as a result of my tank not being cycled. Now my tank is cycled and has been for about a month. After about a week of it being swollen what you see in the picture happened not sure if its flesh or what. She still has a very strong appetite and she acts normal and is still aggressive and everything. Also something on her eye. All the other fish in the tank are doing good. About to do a 50% WC with prime.uploadfromtaptalk1371250008452.jpg

It might have been an abcess that ruptured. Keep the water very clean and add some salt.

Use 1 tablespoon per 5 gallons of water. 11 tablespoons don't worry if you go over.

No they wouln't and no I didn't.

Disolve the salt in some luke warm water and pour it into the tank.
