Somebody who I play basketball with has a friend with a fish tank who is moving. The guy was going to flush his fish so my friend told me I should go see what he had. I set my tank up but only had a week to let is cycle. I added Dr. Tim's instant cycle. I know this isn't optimal but it is what it is.
Tank: 55 gallon
Lighting:2 24" flourecent tubes.
Salt: Half instant ocean normal salt. Half instant ocean reef crystals. Specific gravity 1.025
Rock: Tons of live rock has to be over 50 pounds.
Filter: Hang on back filter with live rock rubble.
Powerhead: I forgot the brand but it was about 1000 gallons per hour.
Substrate: 20 pounds of sand.
Inhabitants: Snoflake eel (~7 years old)
Sea cucumbers
Green mushroom coral
Long green Algae
