females to all male hap/peacock tank

Not worth the risk of having your males attacking each other relentlessly over the female.

I have females in my tank. It is an 8 foot tank though. I don't have any fighting over females. All the males get along.
So I guess the answer is "it depends".

I'm not sure if the females help the males color up or not, but to me, it's fun to watch the courting and spawning.
The tank is packed, so no fry survive. In fact, most of the eggs get eaten by other fish during spawning.
