Hey guys I just added a new setup to my list and just put water in it this evening. I use regular hose water and I have well water. Ph is around 7.8. It was perfectly clear when I put the water in the tank and I added prime while it was being filled. About an hour later i came back to check it out and it looked like this! Like a yellow/green color. No fish in there yet luckily. Just put an established ac110 and bubble filter on there to see if that helps. Can anyone help me out? Could it just be from the chemical reaction with my water and prime? Thanks in advance. uploadfromtaptalk1372300965789.jpg

I wonder of your well water has a high mineral content.

By the way...you don't have a yellow bulb in your light do you. That would certainly turn what would normally be "cloudy water" into "cloudy yellow water".

Was the well water very cold and the room warm? Looks like a bacterial bloom maybe a combination of light and temperature. The established media in the filter should chew it up in about 24 hours give or take. Leave the lights off too.
