So I recently bought a 350 gallon fish tank with a foot print of 4ftx4ftx34.5in; my concern is mostly my afrowana and my mbu when he grows. Assuming adequate filtration, how do you think a square foot print will fair if I put my deco in the middle to create a almost circle track for them to swim around?

I wouldn't put my arowana in a footprint that short.. Maybe an afro is different though.

It's probably better than most aros end up in.

Well I was figuring creating a circle path of swimming would give a good excercise area?

and if it gets spooked and needs to swim strait, then what?

I mean if the swam the diagonal from corner to corner that's 67inches too, Afros do max out smaller than silvers though at around 26-30 inches
I'm basing my opinion off my 30" arowana. It would be sad to see them in a tank only half as long as their in now.
