Florida gar compatibility

I am attempting to rescue a 12" FL gar from A 30 gallon. Will it eat a 8 inch tinfoil barb or a 6 inch tinfoil barb or 2 5 inch bala sharks? ( iam most worried about my faveorite 8 inch tinfoil...)

A 12in gar is pretty skinny. I dont think itll be a problem.

There is currently (at other guys house) a small ropefish and 4" blood parrot if that helps...

you will probably be ok but the bala sharks are at a risk. you will have future problems most likely once he gets big with the barbs because of there silver. But you could get lucky it really depends on the fish

Gar are in no way aggressive fish when it comes to dominance. The silvery triggers their natural hunting instinct.
