Review my plumbing

I had an earlier thread where I asked about plumbing a Nu-Clear canister into the return line from my sump to polish the water and the consensus was that it should work. As was mentioned in that thread, I think it would be useful to include a bypass in the plumbing so that I can isolate the filter for cleaning or if it becomes clogged. Here's a crude schematic of my proposed plumbing (not drawn to scale). The red circles are ball valves that could be used to direct the flow.

I also included a return line back to the sump in case I want to reduce the flow to the tank or isolate the whole filtration system from the tank.

Does this look ok? Any thoughts/suggestions?

Looks like a great idea, you got ball valves in every convenient spot. I would use the same set-up if I had the money for a nu clear haha ;)
Plug and play...
Currently undergoing my own 20 gal sump for my 100 gallon tank. Not sure of what size plumbing I want yet but I have fish that love current so I really need to build it and see what gph it can handle.
