So my rocks are getting nasty, and I'm trying to get rid of the snails that multiplied in my tank. Is it okay if leave the water and fish in my tank, but take out the decorative's and the rocks and replace it with new sand and new structures?

Should be fine, wash the sand before you put it in, then turn of your filters and scoop in the sand:)

Should be fine.. though personally I like to put my fish in a bucket/container ect when doing a full over-haul on a tank.. imo it's less stressful then having them darting around while i'm doing that much internal futzing. Just don't mess w/ your filtration ect as there are good bacteria in all that grave;/deco so I ere on the side of caution and don't do a filter clean along w/ a tank clean if that makes sense.
