So I go to clean the glass on my tank with my magfloat today and for 20 minutes or so he followed it around the tank biting it all along the way. Just thought it was kind of funny since he never did it before. Also he ate about 10 mins before and there was still night crawlers in the tank. I had to take pics. Anyone else experience this behavior before?

Yup. My bd does it quite alot. Its by far the most active in my tank. Always climbing glass and slapping the water near top.. making loads of noise.
It tries to bite the magnet...and also... my heater thermostat got chewed to bits... :(

My male p14 will take a 3" round rock from the bottom and pin it to the side of the tank and bite on it for awhile. I think he thinks they're some sort of crustacean.

Yup its prob because of their natural instinct to attack live food

My magnets have big bite marks in them, when my females are prego the chew on them
