Colombia.
Got an Arowana last week , it seemed okay at first (began eating on first day , moving around ). 3 days ago when i woke up to and cheked on my fish ,my aro had a white spot on his eye and his tail was gone( like peeled ) and was white on the top.
I went to my local pet store and they told me to add green malachite and Methylene blue .
So i proceed doing that, the eye is almost cured but its tail seems to get worse , need HELP PLEASE !!.
My water parameters are okay .

hate to be a jerk, but if your nitrAtes are at 0 then your lying about something... and that tank u got "waiting" isnt long enough because it looks 4ft to me.

Sent from my iPad using MonsterAquariaNetwork app
Nitrates Can be at zero. If you didnt cycle... But regardless he has the arowana already so no use bashing him on his poor choices. For now all you can do is Raise the temperature, And try to get it to eat. thats yoru main concern right now. Blues/blacks are the most delicate of the arowana family. Do water changes, and put some seachem prime. Regardless of what we say or you as OP says, You are definitely doing something wrong. Fix it. If you can get your arowana to eat, then its still in managable condition. Get some crickets and gut load them with NLS or dunk them into some vitachem. Get its immune system back up, arowanas like soft water so black water should be fine. But i wouldnt keep using it. The fact you got it at 3-5 inches means its pretty much new from the LFS. i dont think you cycled properly. that is my guess.

And if you used Seachem prime/safe to dechlorinate yoru water and you tested it, it will be wrong. Prime will alter the readings. Cloudy eye and Fin rot 90% is bad water quality. So more than likely NTS.
