So I built my own stand and the floor is level, but the stand is not. I got the tank on top of the stand, its a 210g btw.

I got it shimmed and level from front to back of tank. But the levelness of from left side to right side is not level. Should I be worry?
I thought you just need to measure levelness front to back of tank, not side to side.

I'm talking about the levelness that I measure from front to back / side to side of tank, not the shimming part under the stand.

not 100% sure,, about a 210 ,but I have a show 90 that's a full inch off, side to side, no problems at all, been set up for 3+years....... JUST from my exp. and some things I have read,, the tank having to be perfectly level is a myth.. it does however need to be flat on the stand and SUPPORTED ON WHATEVER SURFACES IT RESTS ON,,,

Shims should be place between the floor and the stand, not the stand and the tank. Not clear on which you did.

Im in a same situation as u, but w/ a 180Gallon.

I think back to front is more important being level because the braces will break as i see a vid on youtube about it.
