all finished few months ago and haven't show it here yet.. hope to see some comments and opinions.. it's a 300 gallon Marineland tank with a 125gal tank for sump.. 2 x 7" filter sock ,medias, 24 liters of matrix, and it's powered by a Laguna 2400gph pump..it has a 1.5" return hose with a Tee to fit UV then Teed off again to return back to tank with 2 x 1" PVC...

Good size sump....any benefits to such a large sump tank?
Yes I would say lots of room for media and different types of medias. In my case I can even keep other types of fish in sump as a hospital tank.

funny everyone sayes it's extreme filtration, big sump.. i still have 0.25ppm ammonia readings.. with a pair of rays, 3 datnoids....

Plus the added water volume adds stability
