Just ordered all the stuff to drill my tank for my coast to coast overflow build. I'm going to do loc for the return from a rio 3100. The 3100 uses 1" piping so am I better off using 3/4" or 1/2" loc line? I read something about the smaller size giving better pressure out of it but wanted some confirmation. Also if I use a y and face each output into a corner of the tank will this stop the bottom area from becoming stagnant? Don't want to use a powerhead if I don't have to going for the pretty look.
