Just purchased a 3/4 96x48x30 540 as a new project.
I was able to just get the tank and will re-purpose my existing sump.

The question is would you:

Build your own stand frame (4x4 PT)
Look for a fab shop to build a steel skeleton to finish with wood later.

Steel or Wood?

Thanks in advance,

After having a tank with the same dimensions and having it on a wood diy stand I would say go metal and wrap it in wood.

I am looking now on CL for metal fabricators as the LFS would have you believe it would cost 1500 or more to build.
I think I can get a super sturdy one for 500-800 it seems.

Thanks

Just make it out of wood. Much cheaper. And they are easy to build I bet this one I built could support twice what I have on it.
