I just bought a pair of 6 month old occelaris clowns from my LFS, and they look perfectly healthy. They were quarantined at the store, so should I just keep them in the quarantine tank for as long as it takes for them to be feeding right or what? Any input is appreciated.

You should play it safe and quarantine them. I personally don't quarantine even though I know I should. Are they the only fish in the aquarium?

You should be fine without quarantining. There isn't much to quarantine it off from.

Quarantine for at least 2 months at your house and observe just cause they eat don't mean there may not be an internal or external parasite or problem that may not show up for a few days

they were eating pellets at the store, but they haven't been eating as much, and one of them stays "sitting" on the outside of one of the pvc pipes and it breathes really fast, but it is only eating a few pellet at a time.

Check your water. Might be an ammonia spike. How long has the tank been running for?

the quarantine has been running for about 2 1/2 weeks and i give them a few different small servings of food a day, and what they don't eat, i siphon out.

Lay off the feeding for a few days and get your water checked. Most petshops will test it for you if you bring in a sample.
