Has anyone tried kens floating and sinking pellets? Do your fish like them and does it clogs your filters faster? I was thinking of finding a cheaper food source as a filler for bichirs and cichla. Feeding hikari pellets is getting pricey since cichlas eat like a garbage can.

I use it - it takes some time for the fish to get used to it. It is a very hard pellet, which some fish don't like - but they do get used to it. They are not messy. On paper, it looks like quality food. It definitely is cheap.

I used to use kens a lot when I had huge fish such as pacu, aros, cats etc. Everyone liked it and seemed to do well.

I use kens food with a mix of nls. So far it seems to be good stuff.

Am I the only one that kens fish food made the water cloudy? Kens krill pellets are a favorite here though.
