rice or siica pulls the moisture out of the phone best when inside a sealed zipper bag. camera stores sell large silica packets, those are faster, more efficient & thorough for electronics. rice is slow.

Great news! It turned back on after a while in the rice and seems to be working again. Hope it stays normal, more or less.
