Right now I have a pregnant seahorse in a 30 gallon tank by itself.
This tank is linked to a system that is nearly 400 gallons all together.
I have the filter from this tank going straight into a baby basket down in my refugium, to catch an babies that get sucked into the overflow.

I've never done this before, so I have no idea what to expect. I'm not even sure how far along this daddy is. It could have babies tonight, or it could have them weeks from now for all I know.

My main questions are:
1) How much longer does it look like it will be before he pops?
2) I haven't gotten the seahorse to eat since I got it, why is that?
3) What are some good steps to take when/if he gives birth in order to save the babies and hopefully raise them?
