depends entirely on the region youre in and the price the lfs gets them at from the breeder. ie. my region 100, 2 hours over 150+
You can find wc for around $100 but I would recommend spending more on the captives 100%

Still like rocking horse sh..e here in the UK.
A very underestimated ray imo. This could be because few people post pics of what we know as the real Hystrix so never see the real deal, shops are still selling rays as Hystrix that in 90% of cases these are Orbignyi, P.sp Peru and Humerosa.. etc etc. This is due to mainly lack of knowledge and experience on their part, it says Hystrix on the invoice so that is what it gets sold as.....criminal really! No other ray resembles Hystrix other than perhaps an even more seldom exported species known as Potamotrygon constellata also found in Brasil, I believe the Tapajos, I was lucky enough to own one of these in fact its pictured somewhere in the stickies on here.
