Have you ever wondered about the global numbers of fishkeepers?

My guess would be 2 million people. That seems low somehow... but its my gut feeling.

I'd guess there are at least 6 million homes around the world with a tank, with less than half of those being hobbyists.


Thoughts? What do you think?

Maybe world wide the numbers of true hobbyists is higher than I thought... maybe 15 million. that seems really high.

I wonder which country has the highest number of true hobbyists.

Why hasn't anyone done a study like this. Then again, why would anyone!
