Though I had a breeding pair out of the 5 I had. They went through all the motions so I moved them into a 25 by them selves with the same rocks that was tier nest. A couple of weeks went by and they were lovey dovey going through all the motions again. Nothing!! All of a sudden the male gets supper aggressive and starts beating on her. I moved him out. Set up a 40 B and as soon as it was cycled I moved the 5 in to together again. Any Ideas?

I had this happen to me in the past before too. I had the most success just letting them do their thing in the main tank and as soon as they start laying eggs I would throw in a divider. Once the fry are free swimming I just siphon them into a separate tank.
