I was wondering if anybody knew what type this fish is? My best guess was a type of gar. It's a massive guy about 15" and is with my frontosa mobas. Beautiful guy nice red, golden green as well. Very calm and unagressive. Pellet trained.

If I'm correct that it's an Odoe, it's hit or miss. They're not generally aggressive to fish that are too large to be considered food but when kept with territorial Cichlids they can be provoked and cause some damage. Just keep a close watch
