Keeping peacocks in soft water?

because in nature peacocks rarely encounter ph lower than 7.5 but most peacocks you would buy in a lfs have been raised and breed in all sorts of ph so it doesn't really matter unless were dealing with wild caught or a f number fish.

Most fish can adapt to water condition outside their optimal range. Just because you have a pH of 6.7 does not mean that you have soft water. It means that your water is acidic. Softness and hardness is determined by your GH. Have you ever measured your GH and KH?
