Ok I know this is a DIY thread but I didn't make this lol, I just bought this yesterday from a member from another forum. Got it for a great price for the upcoming 210 gallon tank. The canopy is also on top of the stand so thats why it also looks huge but don't get underestimated as the stand itself is 40 inches tall!

However the tank would be sitting not on just random planks of would but a big wood board that stretches the entire stand. This board is removably and two holes has been carved for reef ready aquarium overflows. The problem is the tank I will be getting has corner overflows while this tank basically has two that are not in the corners. So what kind of wood should i use that won't warp or cause much problems with a sump below it as I have to get another wood board and carver holes for corner overflows.? Im thinking of Melamine but I could be wrong

ALSO, the stand itself doesn't have a wood floor just open space on the bottom, can I use any kind of carpet for the sump?
