I have a total of 9 baby red terrors in a 55 gallon tank and I noticed that one of them have gill curl.

I feed 2-3 times a day and bi-weekly water changes.

I do water changes 1-2 times a week. I feed Hikari food sticks 2-3 time a day.

I took the picture after feeding time.

What can I do to fix this problem?
Any meds?

Can you get a good close up? Post water perameters ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, Ph, hardness and temp. Sometimes this is a genetic defect and there is nothing that can be done. Post the close up and we'll take a look.

I would try getting your Ph up to around 7 or so that's too acidic for these fish. Go slowly when trying to raise the Ph if you go too fast it can kill the fish. What is the Ph of your tap water? Can you test hardness Kh or Gh?

If your tap is 7.2 and you're doing water changes 1 or 2 times a week how is the tank at 6? What % of water are you changing. Are you doing anything to reduce the Ph? It seems odd that the Ph would drop that much.

What size is this tank? How often do you clean the substraight and filters? I would start doing daly 25% water changes until 100% of the water has been changed, then start doing twice weekly 50% water changes.
