I've had my NGT for Five weeks now and have starved him for the last four. The shop I got in from found he only ate earthworms and he will not touch anything else.
It is exactly 4 weeks today since I starved him. Today I soaked pellets in earthworm juices but he still shows no interest. I know a member on here nearly starved his NGT for two months to get it to take pellets but it worries me to leave it this long. I have lost NGT the past trying to starve it so I'm well aware they will die in the process if not careful.
The fish is 4 inches long and otherwise active and happy. I really don't want to just feed it earthworms as this is a pain and would like to get it onto pellets. Earthworms are hard to source this time of year. I don't know whether I just need to be more patient?
Any help from anyone would be most appreciated thanks
Rob
