Stocking my new tank?

hey guys i recently acquired a new 75 gallon tank, an i was thinking of what to stock, i want something that's pike like, gar type top water predator type fish, but i also wanna keep other smaller fish too, something that's not overly aggressive?

any advice?

Ca/ sa cichlids. I like Honduran red points. Maybe some fire mouths, jack Dempseys, all gar species would not work for very long in a 75g or arowana. African butterfly fish for top water. Maybe some smaller species of polypterus and some spotted or striped Rafael cats for bottom. There are many possibilities. How about a shoal of exodon paradoxus. Half beaks are pretty cool for top water too.

maybe i mis worded my question, i dont want a gar i wanted something that looks like a gar or pike, i am gonna get a polypterus delhizi, thats all i have on my stock list so far lol gotta keep searching

Why not a some species of pike cichlid? I know there are a few that will do fine in a 75.
