So I live in NYC (financial district) and got back in the hobby about 2 years ago. Started with restarting my 45 gallon tank, which quickly led to a few upgrades and ending with a 125 gallon. Currently live in a 3 person apartment, which is actually fairly large for NYC.

So I'll likely be moving into a smaller 1 bedroom apartment with no roommates next year and was wondering, who here is running large monster tanks from their tiny apartments (any city, not just NYC)??

Lets see those large tanks in tiny places, and any issues you have to deal with. My main problem is not being able to just take stuff outside to wash it off or do water changes. I have flooded the apartment below me a few times doing large water changes before...:naughty:

My current setup (have recently partitioned part of it off to house some smaller bass). O and I also have a 20 gallon brackish setup in my bedroom:headbang2

lol feel bad for the people below you, i remember dropping 15 gallons of water on the floor and it leaked on the people below me and it was in their bedroom!, my tenant would kill me if i had a tank over 30 gallons in my apartment, but i managed to set up a 35g and i bought a 75g recently but the 75g is going into my new house that im moving to soon, which will eventually turn into 100g+ lol!

Nice looking cichla but maybe should post a full tank shot or a shot from across the room to go with the theme of the thread.

I live in a one bedroom apartment. I wanted to save $$ so I downsized, which also meant I had to sell my 500 :(
But now for the time being I have a 220 in my bedroom and a 240 in the living room and in the back of my Blazer right now is a 75 and 35 gallon tank that will be placed where the 3rd photo is, right inside the door.
