I glued a java fern all over my mopani driftwood. about a third of it has put up little green nubs from the original rhizome, no new leaves from the rhizome buds. Almost all the leaves on the rhizomes are still nice and bright green. BUT--about half the leaves have made tiny new plants/roots on the tips of the leaves. So, what do I do? Glue the big leaf to the driftwood, too, hoping the new little plants on the big leaf tips grab the driftwood and start a new clump? Just let the new plants grow on the big leaf tips?

You can rubberband the small plantlets to the wood. By the time the rubber breaks down, the plants should have rooted to the wood.
Otherwise, they tend to float around and get stuck on filter inlets. :)

That's what I have done anyway. Worked for me.
