Been awhile since I updated. My current reef is a 24" cube that's been running about a year. I have 6 different btas in there, a few chalices, a green plate and a few others. Live stock consists of a 5" purple tang, a maroon clown, and a purple fire fish. I have a typical clean up crew with hermits and nerites, about 10 peppermints and a fire shrimp.

Equipment: Ai sols, reef octopus 2000 skimmer, bubble magnus three pump doser, jbj ato, apex with just a temp and ph probe.

Anyway here are the pics

Obviously my huge rbta was meant to be the centerpiece.

Some of you may remember i had a standard 240. I sold it due to a number of issues. The inclosed top made maintenance difficult, the acrylic scratched easily, lighting an 8' reef was expensive and I was cutting corners, I built a crap stand, an aiptasia and asterna infestation, the list goes on and on.

The cube is a great but so much smaller so I'm already working on a new tank. Just bought a glass 48" x 30" x 24" tall 150 and am working on the stand now. I got a great deal and I love the dimensions. Also I will never own an acrylic reef again.

Anyway here are a few more pics of the 60

The infested rock and the rest of my fish from the 240 are in this temp 60. Only filtration I have on this are my two mp40s. There are a few corals on the rock but I couldn't free the coral from aiptasia rock. I have a misbar black clown, a black onyx snowflake, a desjardin sailfin, two yellow tangs, a flame fin tang, melanarus wrasse, emerald wrasse in here. They're doing great but I need to hurry up with my other build.

After battling with aiptasia and asterna stars it's nice to have a pest free tank finally lol the cost was high tho.

I'm thinking I'm just gonna start all new with the 150. Originally I was gonna strip the 60 but I think it'd be better to start new.
