Is it safe to dip a plant in meth blue or super salty water before putting it in the tank? Really don't want snails.

Not only snails also spores of algae and other crap. I usually squirt a few tablespoons of hydrogen peroxide into a cup of water and dip them for 30 seconds or so. Vals half that

I've also hard of people dipping them in really diluted bleach + water solution, followed by a clean water rinse as well to get rid of anything nasty...
