A few pics of my Trimacs. I had them in a 150 gallon without a divider and the male was too aggressive. Moved them into a 90 gallon with an incomplete divider and after a week of her swimming back and forth in and out of his side of the tank, it looks as if they've finally settled down and she is ready to lay eggs.
This male is a real brute and has been putting on size faster than any cichlid I've kept. I was lucky enough to visit Jeff Rapps a while back and was able to hand pick the biggest male out of one of his grow out tanks.
I got the female from a buddy who purchased a group from Dan (Cichlids of the Americas).
