I normally keep my temp around 80 in my tank but the past day or two my house temp has been cooler and the tank is around 70-72 and the fish havnt been picking on each other and I've noticed one of my fish that normally gets chased a lot chilling with awsome color think I should make my temp around 75ish

I keep all my african cichlid tanks at a constant 75-76 degrees all year round. Keeps aggression and eating down.

Yes, lower temperatures tend to help alleviate aggression. It also allows you to feed less.

Fish are cold blooded, which means their body temp reflects their environment. In other words, the warmer the temperature the faster the metabolism. Lower the temp and you can feed less, and the fish will also not be quite as active. Being less active means they won't be targeting other fish as much.
