I work in and around the town I live in, with one particular publicly owned building featuring a 55gallon with full cabinet and two old goldfish in it, sitting in the foyer.

I visit this building semi-regularly depending on what projects I'm working on, everytime I go I can't help but wonder who actually owns the tank and "looks after it", considering it has heavy algae growth and general unkemptness. Yesterday in passing, I asked the receptionist about it, and she instantly replied "oh we just feed them, do you want it?"

Quite obviously the answer to that is yes, so she has my details and I guess I'll find out sooner or later if I'm looking at a free set-up :D

Then I only have to wonder about space, or storage until I can set-it up haha.

I've found that with most things, aquariums included, if you notice it laying around for months unused/unwanted, most people are happy just to get rid of it.
