lol...."extinct" but they found 47 of them at a fish market.

^Something like that. A species of freshwater Darter was also found in that manner at a market in Africa. Those who know the water best!

Anyways, that's awesome. Hopefully somebody starts studying them, maybe they can be stabilized, somehow...

Actually with coelocanths somebody actually fished one up, and they tried to keep it alive but it died not after long because of the pressure differences and water chemistry. they come from really dense water deep down in the darkness of the ocean.
